IceCube Masterclass

An Authentic Astrophysics Research Experience. Join scientists from Stockholm University and Uppsala University in a collaborative analysis of IceCube data and learn from researchers why a science career is interesting — even fun!—and, most of all, a real option for you.

Learn about IceCube, a cubic-kilometer detector at the South Pole, and about how tiny, ghostly particles, called neutrinos, can help us explore the extreme universe.

Audience: IceCube Masterclass is intended for Gymnasium students in years 2 and 3. A prior or current physics course is helpful, and diversity is key to the success of our science. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Gymnasium teachers are welcome to attend with their students.
