Summer course for girls 11-15 years
Are you a girl who thinks natural science is fun and who wants to meet new friends? If you have just finished grade 5-9 in primary school in spring 2019, this could be a fun activity for you this summer, and it is completely free! Take the opportunity to try out activities that you enjoy now and in the future!
Design your own product and print it in one of our 3D printers, visit Edvard Anderson's Tropical Greenhouse, learn more about programming and electronics, detect liquid nitrogen and work in our well-equipped chemical lab. You can take part in all of this and much more in an eventful week at the Vetenskapens Hus, where you will be attended by students from KTH and Stockholm University.
The House of Science has organised summer courses for girls since 2005 in cooperation with several actors to increase girls' interest in science and technology. This year the course is free and the summer course is given in collaboration with KTH, Stockholm University, Scania, IBM and FLIR. Since its inception, around 2900 girls have participated in the summer course.
