FIRST LEGO League
Information regarding this years tournament can be found here.
FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is the world's largest technology and science competition for children and adolescents aged 10-16 years. The project extends over a major part of the academic year with competitions both locally in town and later, semi-finals in Norway, further competitions around the world and finally, the world finals in the United States.
Join this year's FLL with your Grade 4-9 pupils! Pupils can build and program a robot, do project work, a profile and promote their team. The House of Science arranges FLL Stockholm. FLL is the culmination of a longer project done in school months before the competition day.
FLL is a project competition where pupils, based on a given theme, define a problem and come up with solutions, market the solution and compete with a Lego robot on a course. The work involves engaging with the annual theme and researching a problem they formulate themselves, solving tasks about constructions of a Lego robot, programming this and marketing its problem-solving abilities.
The regional finals for FLL in Stockholm are organized by the House of Science. In November, the Scandinavian finals and the World Cup will be in the spring.
